Bottom: however, these icons do not entirely match up with the icons used everywhere else in the game, like the actual race selection menu. In particular, the Star Cup icon clearly has a mouth in the license, while not having one in the menu. The only game the Star Cup icon has had a mouth in was Mario Kart: Double Dash, which suggests that the license is using early designs taken from that game.
